The Minister for Works and Transport Hon Gen. Edward Katumba Wamala was in Sebei Sub-region to monitor the on going construction of Kapchorwa-Suam road which is being worked on by China State Construction and Civil Engineering (CSCCE) at a cost of Ushs 370 billions.

The ground breaking ceremony was on August 2018 by President Y.K Museveni and H.E William Ruto of Kenya.

Before the field work to Suam One Stop Border Point OSBP, Gen Katumba held a meeting with all MPS, RDCs, LCV Chairpersons , District Engineers of Sebei region, #UNRA and the Contractor's team at Kween District.
